Urgent Issue

I need some opinions. I'm trying to help someone I like on DeviantArt. He's been targeted by a popular artist and has been labeled a pedophile by her. She's also got her audience mostly on her side.
Now in today's world, people find pedophilia 80x worse than genocide and nuclear holocausts so labeling someone as such wrongfully is extremely dangerous. Judgments have also become rather clouded on what breaches these boundaries in few cases. I think this is one of those cases.

My question to you all is this:

Now the funny thing is, the artist labeling him didn't even confront him first. She just abused her popularity and got everyone to agree with her simply because she's a good artist and they'll instantly side with her.

The image she found particularly "disturbing" and "twisted" that triggered her spontaneous crusade was this.

It was reported and the request to have it removed was denied because she needed proof this was a child to which she said DA has their head in their ass for not agreeing with her radical accusation.

No, it is not paedophilia. That is stupid. What is even worse is that people care this much. IT IS A FUCKING PICTURE -- A FICTIONAL PIECE OF ART and people need to get over their air of moral superiority they use to try and rationalize their own sick proclivities. The facial structure makes the subject look quite young; I'm not going to side with anyone yet until the artist in question provides her actual age... if it is a photograph. It looks more or less like seductive modeling than porn.

I'm not going to side with anyone based on the picture, because really -- who cares. I tend to gravitate away from psychotic and militant irrational behavior and toward the one who obviously isn't instigating any drama.

All I can read from that is "OH MY GOD THIS PICTURE LOOKS A BIT TOO MUCH LIKE A CHILD AND WE MUST ALL GET TOGETHER AND STOP THIS PERSON FROM CREATING FICTIONAL WORKS OF ART!!!"

I personally am very against pedophilia. But even if this was an actual model, I don't think she's underage. Her body is too developed to be that of a prepubescent child. Then again, I've been wrong before, so I'll wait and see what happens.

That's what I meant. The actions. Thoughts are thoughts, I have some thoughts of my own about reaching across the counter and bitch slapping a customer with a block of cheese. Doesn't make it okay to actually do it. The bottom line is, this doesn't look like kiddy porn to me, therefore I don't care.

It's really disturbing that it's come to this. People want to control what others think, feel, and the most harmless expressions of that. You know damn well that none of these moral crusaders, in their own lives, really lift a finger to stop victimhood of actual children. Watching To Catch A Predator or Nancy Grace and getting your lil' Two Minutes Hate rocks off doesn't count. It's pretty obvious this isn't about protecting children and stopping child porn as much as someone who, in the real world is probably a parasitic waste of skin, telling anyone who will listen that the existence of a few sick people somehow justifies theirs.

After looking at the images in question, and seeing that sanctimoniously saccharine plea for attention - the one adorned with leaves and a plaque bearing some bullshit about "virtue and art", I just had to respond somehow. Her own comments were enough to work with.

I've noticed a lot of people who talk about their right to an opinion don't believe others have the same right. Also I wonder if there's a term for the same mentality as a hugbox, except it's more like "lets all unite in our anger and hate towards someone or something and shun anyone who disagrees".
