| Work to provide something people can enjoy or use for their own benefit.
Try to become some sort of quality performer, astute educator, artist, etc.
Don't be like Craftnation who exploits death for a profit. Don't be like TJ and beg for money from people who happen to trust you for valid life criticisms and commentary. And definitely drop the begging for popularity as you do on occasion.
Getting popular isn't at all easy and being popular is just as hard. So I honestly don't know why you'd strive for such a thing. Just take things easy. | |

I spent a lot of time in my younger years trying to earn the admiration of random strangers on the internet, constantly confused about how my sister was becoming popular in the same communities that I was failing miserably in. She was enjoying herself and I was being a tryhard. As of last year, I make things for fun, and people like what I make, and they like me for it. The internet suddenly makes so much more sense. | |
