| I got it for Christmas but didn't play it much. However, I'm pretty far along in it now, and I'm hooked on it. Sure, it might not be the definition of a fantastic, polished game that will stand the test of time, but I guess I'm part of the niche that the developers targeted, so I love it.
The combat can be a little frustrating at times. Hitting someone in the face with a baseball bat will sometimes not cancel the zombie's attack. In fact, the most sure-fire way to keep control of any situation is to -kick- them, wtf.

| LOL I knew you were gonna post this before me. Oh well. Yes y'all, we're both obsessed with this game now. I only got it the other day and I'm already at level 30, having just reached the city last night. Honestly, even with the stiff looking human characters and some of the flaws Thylali pointed out, it's still a great game. I never played L4D but this game seems to have all the exploration and depth that game sorely lacks. And while it is an action-RPG, it can often feel very much like survival-horror, where guns and ammo are precious, severely limited commodities, weapon usage in general must be conserved, and especially in the more densely populated areas it makes a lot more sense to run than fight. Aside from the wooden character models/animations I already mentioned, the indoor areas often look a lot less inspired than the vast outdoor areas, but honestly, I'm okay with that because that's where you spend most of the game.
I think I'd love to go online with this game if anyone still plays online.

| Yeah, I'd quite like to play a co-operative run through with people I know on Xbox. | |

| This game had practically fallen off the map.
I enjoyed it when I rented it, though. The throwing guy is cool, I like playing as him.
