Depends on the featureset you're looking for and how long it takes to build.

If you're just looking for a one-hole-one-speed, that's about 15 bits, I can throw in a wing vibrator for a couple bits more, but if you want something like a horn-fibrillator— not that I condone the use of such a dangerous device, in case any lawyers are listening — that's gonna run you about 20 extra. Gearboxes, auto-winders... multi-hole units... I can pretty much do anything if you've got the bits.

The most expensive machine I've ever built was 600 bits, built for a princess (can't say which one); a gold-plated infinifast triple-penetrator, basically at least one of everything built into it. The thing is, she ordered a machine that was the right size for a normal pony. She never would have fit in it. Weird, huh?
