Its just FO3 with more guns, enemies, and in the desert. You can be an even more mad Scientist in New Vegas too, since there's power through out the Mojave and its got even more sciency stuff, like a full fledge robot production facility fully functional after over 200 years and a tower of science and casino.

Odd, considering X3100 is present in a lot of Mac models. I was more interested in audio production than graphics stuff anyway, but I guess I should check out Blender, since I am interested in game design.

A lot of people actually consider FO3 to be the better game, and while I'm not sure if I agree, I can sort of see why. The Mojave sure feels a lot smaller than the Capitol Wasteland, for one. The explosives skill is less useful/practical, and even the stuff that's supposed to give you the kinds of strategic options that would've been nice in FO3, like faction armor doesn't seem to actually work. I haven't even bothered with following the Legion path just because of how much a pain in the ass it is, and don't even get me started on the bugs that can basically render your game uncompletable. Plus, the kinds of insane/random battles that would happen in FO3, like your party vs Enclave troops vs some Super Mutants vs a fucking sentry bot and frenzied Enclave Deathclaw just don't seem to happen in NV. FFS, half the vehicles laying about can't even be blown up!

I can see why, but I felt that even if the Mojave was smaller, it was more varied. In FO3 it just felt like dead trees, bad water, the same hills, and brown. More like Fallout in the sense of it being a primitive setting where the BoS is the same as in 1 and Megaton would be like Shady Sands. Irs fun, but I liked New Vegas better, they've got post-war production and a fairly high standard of living with towns having more communication and even in the case of Westside and Goodsprings having a milita to protect themselves. Mr. House essentially did what too the NCR 100 years, in less than 10 making New Vegas a power house of post war recovery. The Capitol just felt, bleak. Like even though the Enclave was defeated, it would still be decades if not centuries before they could recover. Oh and 8bit, we got an RE6 thread
