| That feel when you listen to a song you used to love a couple of years ago, it used to nearly bring you to tears every time you heard it and you felt like you could reach out and touch the music and it felt like fucking flying And now it's just like... eh FUCK I FEEL OLD | |

- My mood just brightened right the hell up. I was watching The Sandlot, and decided to retrieve my baseball bat from my truck outside. I grabbed it and brought it inside. Needing money I looked up the value online. $55-$125 for a 1980s repro for something I bought for $20. Now 1980s repros have 1935 R stamped on the knob. This doesn't. The absolute youngest this bat could be, is 82 years old from 1930 because that's the last year that Babe Ruths signature was burned in. Being an original 1916-1930 bat with the sig and stampings. Its value is around $500-$1,000. I about shit my pants.

| So yesterday was pretty cool. One of the most memorable St. Patty's Days by far. And I'm sorry I haven't gotten you a gift, BFF ;~; I can buy you something if you wanna go to Bardstown with us next weekend, though. | |

| My cat is so annoying lately. If he is inside when I go to bed, he wakes me up really early to go out... so if it is nice out when I go to bed, I kick him outside first. I was going to let him stay last night, but as I was going to sleep, he made a ton of noise, so I kicked him out. Then someone let him in when they were coming home, so he woke me up anyway. >_____> | |

my playlist 5 years ago consisted of so many songs that I'm just plain too embarrassed to even admit I ever listened to. But I still want to love it like I used to, I just can't

| I have a bunch of songs on my computer that I've been carting from PC to PC since at least 2002. I am too lazy to go through and delete them though. XD | |

it's weird to think that 2002 was 10 years ago, because it doesn't feel like that long ago, yet thinking back to 1999, it felt like forever ago... wtf brain

| Looking at the new iPad...I'm seriously thinking about buying one If they ever add flash support and some fucking pressure sensitivity, I will snatch one of those up in a second (but they won't because Apple are trolls) | |

| I'm just now coming around to the idea of getting an E-reader. I still don't really see the point of a tablet though. | |

And it would probably have all the features I wanted too and Apple would be like U MAD GREG?!?! Anyway, my computer is in need of replacing and I really, really wish Apple would one day release their OS so you could run it on any PC without hacking. Of course it would destroy the company right? Honestly I REALLY doubt it, people would still flock to the Apple store when something new came out because OMG SHINY. iOS would still be restricted to Apple products, those provide their main source of revenue anyway. Windows is so ridiculously expensive ($200+) because they aren't tethered to the hardware like Apple is so they have to charge extra (Apple charges $60 for Lion) But honestly I would gladly pay $200 to run OSX, or a modified version of it like what they did with iOS, on third party hardware (it would still save me a shit ton of money) Or Apple could just lower their fucking prices... honestly the base price for a lot of things isn't that terrible but then the upgrade prices is where they fuck you in the ass...

I can't stand the iPad philosophy. At present, proprietary apps on a low-power handheld device cannot surpass the utility of open-source programs running on a real desktop or laptop (supplemented with some proprietary apps for convenience). This is why I refuse to upgrade to Lion. "More iPad-like." Bullshit. However, running linux on an iPad, with full multitouch support... That would be friggan sweet. ------- https://furrygtw.forumotion.com/viewtopic.forum?t=191
