I'm usually not on Skype because it crashes on me no matter what. Different intervals of time, but guaranteed. I don't fucking get it.
I get on when I feel it won't frustrate me too much.

Man I don't get it. That's what MSN was like for me
that's why I all but abandoned it. Skype always works for me
sure, it's slow to start up, there's technical issues with calls
but bottomline, the shit works for me generally

To be honest, my favorite chat program is Steam.

Straight forward, no BS, just chat with friends.
