speaking of smells, I had the most wonderful visit the other day to a place called teavana. nothing but organic tea~

they let you taste samples, and the smells were wonderful. youthberry white tea with orange blossoms. peach momotaro artisan. tea smells amazing.

when I get my life settled, I'm literally going to have a huge tea collection. just thousands of different kinds of organic tea, and wake up in the morning, to have a different kind every day~

Gasoline smells fine...

Until you spill about a dollar's worth in the back of your car.

And it smells like gas in there for two months.

Some surprising smells I like are those of burning rosin, steel oxidizing, and burning melty acrylic... Basically all those smells that mean my hands are going to end up burned and sliced by the end of the day.

I've read somewhere that most restaurant/food places (probably not fast food) are obligated to serve you a free sample if you specifically ask for one. I'm going to try that one day.
