I wonder if I should tell you guys something I noticed
I don't know if it's worth it really I mean what's the point
it won't change anything but it'd take a long time to explain
people tend to get upset when I write stuff out like that

short version is, i just got banned from Werelist
Daisy could tell you a bit about that place
she got defacto banned too

unlike FAF, i actually made much effort to get along
you can't fundamentally change who you are though
that's essentially what they ask of most normal people
they swear up and down they don't, but they do

so at a certain point, as I put it,
if you can't/won't trust me
if you think I have some agenda
if you read all these things into simple statements
and blow my words/ideas way out of proportion
"I'm fresh out of fucks to give"
I don't respect you at a certain point
you're not worth the effort I've already given
more effort than most; leave me alone

here's where it gets interesting, though
there's a guy from that forum who literally wished death on me once
because at the time he thought our belief systems were incompatible
maybe they were, who knows, but there's not enough room in the world for both of us? kid, get the fuck over yourself, amiright?

yeah, we get along fine now, have for the better part of a year
Daisy, how many times have we fought? we're still friends
partly because I sympathize with her on a lot of things
me and Tank used to argue, then I started sticking up for him
of course, you know why

All of us are like these evil scourges on the internet who must be silenced
yet none of us really wants to silence anyone else
and we can't get along with others, so we're told, yet we do just fine
when we're not being treated like, well, criminals

i think the point i'm trying to make is we probably shouldn't even have half the friends we do, by all rights, considering our numerous flaws and yet we somehow manage not to be as addled and infuriating as the would be, stalwart guardians of the internet's "best interests".
