The best possible ending actually is an Independent Vegas, but only if you do everything perfectly. The game's idea of "perfectly" is also kind of arbitrary in places, which I think adds realism; what seems like the most moral solution or most effective solution often has unforseen negative consequences, and vice-versa. So, it is technically "possible" to achieve a super awesome Independent Vegas, but the number of good Independent Vegas endings is substantially smaller than the number of good NCR endings. Siding with NCR is the pragmatic hedging decision, going for a perfect Independent Vegas is the ideological go-for-broke decision.

While Vulpes may be hot, there's the fact that they're anti-technology, anti-healthcare, and anti-woman. Legion life is certainly a lot more sustainable than many of the alternatives, but it's certainly not the epitomy of moral or prosperous life.

The Legion is easily the worst in virtually every conceivable way. House is essentially a corporate oligarch/autocrat, but his model is mostly untested. Who knows, it could work. The NCR may be a revival of old American ideas, but it's still something new. Neither are really fundamentalists, ideologically. Caesar is, as is Lanius. I mean you have to be sick and insane to think ethnic cleansing, slavery and crucifixion are things that should be brought back from the old world. But even if you can look past that (I'd love to hear your reasoning), the fact of the matter is they're trying to revive an experiment that ultimately failed. Not just Rome, but empires as a whole. They expand, they ossify once they no longer can, and then they fragment and collapse. If Caesar believed that was actually desirable and that emulating Rome as close as possible was the best possible way to ensure history repeats (including the rise of another religion like Christianity, the Renaissance that would follow the Medieval equivalent, a new kind of Industrial Revolution following that, etc), I could at least think he was a Well Intentioned Extremist, but he'd still be an extremist with an exceptionally flawed premise to be gambling (and utterly throwing away) that many people's lives on. But that's not even the case. He sincerely believes he can create a new Pax Romana when there was never even really a first one.

Even the Mojave chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel are more noble in their ideals and realistic in their thinking.

I can understand that, though if we even did add pony emotes, it would probably only be a couple because of the non-brony complaints we would have to listen to. Ill be damned if Im going to watch another bitchfit over a fandom on this forum again.

Excluding sigs/avys, most of the forum is non brony. Ive tried making sure almost all the pony content stays in its thread with the exception of a few posts here and there. I mean, you cant tell me that its worse than it was before I originally made the pony thread, when every thread could be bombarded with pony content and no one would stop it.

Also, no ones telling you to use those couple pony emotes if they were ever added. You could just keep using the meme emotes
