Also, on the topic of attractive men in movies, the last movie I saw was Thor. It was alright, I guess. But when Thor first came on the screen, my mom looked at my sister and said, "yes please." But I personally thought he looked like a flaming douche canoe. Or maybe I was just feeling challenged. Idunno.

Remember the scene where the Joker stood in the middle of the road in front of Batman, and Batman swerved to avoid him and crashed? He was so sure that Batman would play by his own rules that he risked his own life just to fuck with him. THAT'S how badass the joker is. And yes, Batman is a pussy for not killing him. But at least he has principles, you've gotta give him that.

Better question, why didn't the armed men pump him full of bullets upon reaching his hanging body? Didn't they learn their lesson not to put him behind bars?

...I'd imagine that would make him that much more of a man. haven't you heard the phrase "true bravery comes from having the power, and choosing not to use it." I think that's why I'd say batman is one of my favorite superheroes. he's in a city filled with psychopathic murderers, and yet he still manages to not kill.

of course, this is coming from a pacifist, so my opinion is biased

Real Steel. Decent but kind of cliche. Mostly amusing to see old tropes (especially fight related) play out in a high-tech special effects loaded context.

children of men, requiem for a dream, trainspotting, sunshine, moon, let the right one in, and like, hundreds of independent stuff that I could recommend, but you'd probably hate.

Trainspotting was the last film I watched and it was great.

After School 7/10 it's an independent film

so yea, it's pretty fucked up, but somehow reminds me of my one year at my christian academy.

it's one of those movies that I wish had a different ending cause it was kind of a downer. you get this poor kid who goes through hell, and nothing good really happens to him throughout the movie. I just wanted to hug him.

also a certain character reminded me of my step dad... so seeing what happened to him put a smile on my face.

The dad didnt die though, so that was a bummer
I just came back from the movie, and thats pretty much what I thought of it as well lol
