I can attest to this in a different way, not one of sight, but of sound. And I'm telling a true story that I'll never forget. When I was about 12, I went to my friend's house to spend the night. We ended up going to HIS friends' house later that night to play manhunt with a few others. It was about 1 AM and my friend and I were walking down the street back to his place when we heard the most deafening and most inexplicably petrifying train like screech. And no it wasn't a train because if it was it would not only be a demon train, but 2 inches away from us. That's how loud and ghastly it was. No winds either. And we knew it was something because at 1 A fucking M the very instant we heard that, the birds in the trees flew for the fucking hills, my friend's dog lost it's shit, and two small foxes darted past me. Keep in mind I live in a place with no loud animals. No hyenas, wolves, or anything else. And no animal sounds like that. I ran so fast I didn't even realize I was tired until I stopped. Nothing went through my head though. It all came out of my mouth. FUCK WAS THAT SHIT!?I actually didn't even go back to my friend's house, I instinctively ran a mile to get back to MY home. That was some fucking night. | |
