Anyway. Someone called out FAF's behavior again and while it admittedly includes me this time, I agree with him. But I doubt anyone else will and are gonna proceed to scold and bash him.

All college is is a self-feeding profession. You don't actually learn anything from school, you learn from studying, researching, and experimenting. You don't need to pay $20,000 tuition to do that, nor do you need a bullshit diploma that literally only means "I listened to idiots talk at me for X amount of semesters."

Its not really useless though when you consider that if you want to move up in terms of employment, youre gonna need one. Hell I can know how to fly a plane but the USAF will still want a diploma from college to let me fly one of their planes.

I'd rather not chance that and just get something that professionally says I'm certified on top of getting the experience.
Besides, I haven't paid a dime and I graduate next year.

Exactly why it's useless. Knowledge and skill doesn't make you employable anymore, a bullshit college diploma does.

If I ever owned a business, I'd tell someone with a doctorate degree to go fuck themselves. All that degree goes to show me is that you're an expert in wasting your fucking time.

Seriously, student loan debt is the next bubble. It's gotten out of control, and the entire system has turned into another money-grubbing hustle that empowers the rich and slams the poor.

I pulled out my nintendo 3DS, and she gives me a look and says "you aren't a snitch, are you?" thinking I was taking a picture of her with it.

I indulge in her paranoia, and say "don't worry, I'm not with the feds"

and she says "it's not the feds I'm worried about. it's the mexican mafia"

and she goes on for about 30 minutes about how everyone is literally out to get her, and everyone is being paid to snitch on her. how the mexican mafia works with the arizona state police, to get rid of unwanted people who know too much. I just went along with everything she said, and it was just too hard not to smile, while she was being so serious about all of it.
