There's a setting where the game auto-centers your crosshairs for you. I don't use it. I get killed more when I use it.

Especially on B.net, because a lot of people on those boards can't stand Halo: Reach, and consider Halo 2 and Halo 3 to be the second coming of Jesus and Muhammad or something.
