Talk about everyones favorite pixelated block game here
Recently, I discovered an enormous cave system across some hills under a desert near my main fort No shit, this cave system is composed of about 3-4 ravines (no, not just large caves, motherfucking RAVINES), AND an abandoned mine ...I havent even begun to explore this damn cave, and Ive got more iron and coal than I know what to do with Ill take some screenshots later
Also, do we have a GTWF Minecraft Server or anything? I usually only loiter around one server and its usually me and just one other person so Im looking for more active servers to hang around

There should be an automatic resizing thing for images so it doesnt stretch the screen (I know forums have the option somewhere)
Personally I hate abandoned mineshafts Theyre full of those tiny spiders that can crawl through holes as big as one block and poison you

They can get through half a block even, so there's literally almost no way to make a grinder for them Which sucks considering how many freaking spawners there are Hmm, I suppose a drowning trap would still work, I assume they always swim upwards in still water like all other mobs

We need a GTW server, if anyone can make one that'd be awesome. I kinda had an idea if I knew how to execute it thought.

I somewhat know how to make one, I suppose I could always host one, though Im not sure how hosting a server works exactly Does the server remain open if Im not online or anything, or do I have to be playing or something for it to work?

Now, mind you, I've never played Minecraft, but you typically need to have a server host open for clients to connect to it. You don't need to have a client open to run the host, as that would just force you to waste valuable memory on rendering.

So what youre saying is that I would have to be online running a program in order for the server to be open?
If so, maybe I shouldnt host a big public server for us because my online status is sporadic and my connection gets sketchy at times so the server would fuck up constantly
If I dont need to be online for the server to work, then Ill try to set one up and see how it goes

You do need to be online. Every server needs a "host" computer. Basically a computer that stores all the information about the map and serves as a hub to which all the other computers send and receive data to/from. If that computer goes offline, everyone gets disconnected, because they are all connected through you. You can use a computer at some other location as a host, but typically you have to pay for it — not a lot of folks just pass out server space, bandwidth, and processor time for free, you know!
Also, regarding your screenshot... Chrome, Pidgin, and Minecraft? Damn, boy, if that's all your computer is for, switch to Linux already!

CAVE SPIDERS ARE THE DEMON SPAWN OF SATAN'S FIREY BUTTHOLE >:C Yesterday I came across like half a dozen spawners in a single area, they're always clumped together like that. And so many spiders had spawned in all the time I was down there that I had to carefully pick off what felt like hundreds ;~; They also half depleted what was a full set of iron armor.
Now when I hear spider sounds in a mineshaft and it's actually a NORMAL spider, I'm overjoyed with relief. Wow I never thought I'd feel that way about spiders O__o

We really should start a server here for minecraft, and download the map from Shadow of Israphel for it with Mistral City before it was destroyed. Also if you've seen the SOI episode 33, holy shit I want to actually ride that minecart track.

if you guys actually decide to officially create a server for everybody to use, that WON'T shut down any time soon, let me know. I'm not even going to bother with online until I know I'll be staying in one server.
