Can artists fucking be consistent? One moment they're stating reference is ok. Now it's tracing and you're wrong for it, didn't draw it on your own, and don't learn anything from it. Despite tracing being the literal act of overlaying your canvas over a piece and going over it directly.

Nothing happened don't worry.

I'm just not very good at keeping in contact with friends, and in real life I've got shared experiences and proximity to gloss over the fact that I don't have much in common with what feels like most people. On the internet practically all you have is mutual interests to talk about.

It's easy to forget that when you're connecting with people in shared mourning over the loss of friends or the latest e-drama but it all fades into the background once the spectacle is over.

Oh god you're so right. Now is when the struggle sets back in to keep the conversations going. I'm talking to someone almost everyday that I wasn't before all this, and right about now it's apparent we're running out of steam to keep this up. We clearly both want to though.

Meh. I don't think too much about it.

I know that it's the Internet so you're not going to be in constant contact with people like the ones you see face to face everyday. And you meet too many people too rapidly to keep up with most of them consistently. I still value the people in my Skype even if extended periods may go by where we don't talk.

I don't know. I don't like thinking too deeply about this sort of thing. I feel it'll just lead to the most depressing conclusion when it's really not so bad.

I don't talk with y'all out of sheer habit. I shut everyone out of my life and close off communication for long periods of time, then bury myself in work to expend the guilt. No running from you now.
