This is, plausible. Has to be built into a mountainside though with a good overview of ponyville but is hard to see.

I think pegassi usually live in cloud houses (as RD does), so you could put it pretty much anyplace.

That is, unless fanon is correct and Derpy is raising Dinky, then they'd need a floor made of something other than clouds.

True. This is like, their third or fourth episode, and it's getting old.

And we all know how that episode would go, anyway. One of them gets her mark, says she'll stay best buddies with the other two, gets sucked up into the popular crowd, about five minutes of drama and tension building, then last minute redemption to wrap up the plot. Might work if it were well-framed by another plot line, but otherwise it would just feel like filler.

I'm working under the hypothesis that all three of them have the special talent of invisibility.
