The whole time from the very beginning I was like PINKIE DON'T EAT THE FUCKING CAKE. From the beginning I was expecting it to be one of those 'comedy' EVERYTHING GOES WRONG THAT POSSIBLY CAN scenarios that I hate, but gladly it wasn't. Halfway through I thought maybe Pinkie had eaten the cake in her sleep and she was just having delusions to blame other ponies because she's psycho. Also pinkie is a scumbag for eating the WHOLE FUCKING CAKE at the end. I mean cartoon gags aside, Twilight and Applejack never even had any. And when you add in the whole cider thing Pinkie just looks like a huge douchebag. And THIS is the pony who sang "You've gotta share" And also, how come Rarity, RD, and Fluttershy didn't have to write letters to the princess?  I'm not quite sure what the lesson of this episode is, but it certainly isn't "have some self restraint". I am disappointed in almost everypony.

Actually, we don't know that Twilight didn't have any. She led the investigation, kept all the evidence to herself until the very end, and expressed the importance of 'not leaving any evidence.' (It sounded kind of like bragging.) All we know about AJ is that she didn't lie, but she was suspiciously absent for the rest of the episode.
But yeah, of course Pinkie is a douchebag. We're talking about the pony who put off destroying Discord just to have chocolate milk. If Luna had used a metric ton of cupcakes instead of spooky trees, Equestria would still be bathed in eternal night, and Pinkie would weigh a little less than a metric ton.
