Oh, something I've been wanting to rant about.
Why does almost every laptop manufacturer put the audio ports on the righthand side? Why is this terrible you ask? Well first of all most of us are right handed, and I hate clutter on the right of the laptop because that's where I put my mouse. Second of all, it's pretty much become the standard for large, over-ear headphones to have one cord coming out of the left earcup. Hell even a lot of earbuds have a longer cord for the right earbud, you're supposed to wrap it behind your head and have the cord dangle on the left side of your body. It makes SENSE to put the audio ports on the LEFT of the computer then, why is there this conflict between laptop manufacturers and headphone manufacturers? It's one of the things Apple has always done right. Otherwise, your headphone cord has to either wrap around the back of the computer, or just fucking get in the way of you trying to use the keyboard What makes it even worse is they put it right near the front corner, so you'll have a harder time picking the laptop up if you have headphones plugged in. An even more ridiculous setup that I've seen on some laptops is the audio ports in the front. Like seriously, what the hell were you thinking when designing that? Nothing should ever obstruct the front of the computer. Part of me wants to become an industrial designer just because I see such fucking awful design every day. And also, put the toilet paper the right way, you morons.

Someone forced a laptop like that on me as a gift. It sucks so hardcore. Especially when you try to put your laptop, you know, in your lap? Basically, the plug jabs into your pelvo-dickular region and you have to hold it way too far away to actually use it properly.

Well that's one bad thing Apple did with my laptop, the optical drive is on the front. So I go to spit a CD out, realize it's on my lap and has no room, go OH SHIT and move it away quickly. But I hardly ever use the optical drive anyway so who cares. And anyway the newer models have it on the right side, which is where 99% of laptops have it.
Also I miss the old iBooks where you could just take the whole keyboard off by pushing down on two clips. That was pretty hardcore awesome. But now you have to do brain surgery to get anything off an Apple product

I've never had to deal with people coming up to me out of the blue and telling me it's bad; most likely because British society is decadent and living here makes you want to die. People that cough at me when they see me smoking annoy me though.

I hate smoking unfiltered cigarettes. I roll my own to save money, and a pack of filters is about 70p. I do want a pipe like Gandalf though haha
