My computer keeps shutting down when I'm playing games I'm assuming it's overheating...
Yep, it's really overheating. I guess I can't use this external display for gaming, even if it's older games that seem to be running great. My GPU shot up from 75C to 90C (yes, it idles at 75C) in a matter of seconds after booting Half-Life Source, and my CPU nearly hit 80C. Now I'll test this without the external display, hopefully the temps are a lot lower. Though I won't be able to monitor it in real time because I need two screens for that...
Well I tried it and it was only a couple degrees cooler, so my computer just sucks I guess.

Yes, I do. I just really fucking hate the "smoke weed everyday" people who treat it as a lifestyle. ESPECIALLY people that blow all their money on drugs and then bitch about how poor they are.
