I'm not much of an FPS player. my favorite games are usually in the simulation/RPG area. my favorite series is harvest moon, which is basically the exact opposite of an FPS game lol.

as much as I could care less about call of duty, it's fun if I'm playing with a friend. I dunno if I can compromise my pride to not just play a game like that, but support those games by purchasing them. But I guess to be a good friend, I'd have to put you ahead of my own tastes. It'd be a good test, I suppose.

lol remember that? well technically the original fallout is a turn-based strategy game. you mean fallout 3 and up? it's also an RPG. I prefer the RPG elements over the FPS elements... not to mention, I'm probably the only person in the world who uses the 3rd person perspective in fallout

it's also an RPG. I prefer the RPG elements over the FPS elements... not to mention, I'm probably the only person in the world who uses the 3rd person perspective in fallout I use it too, on and off. But after playing Bioshock (like, best FPS series of all time) it leaves me wishing Fallout's FPS elements were better.

| I'm prepared to scour the earth for him. If he runs to Indochina, I want a Nigga there waiting for him in a bowl of rice.
That is the funniest movie line I have ever heard.
And I practically grew up on FPS games. How'd I transition to arcade shooters like that?

| morning all. i feel like shit. didn't sleep until 0800 and i woke up at 1000. ugh. btw, wtf is with corto? i'm sure if he wanted the shit cleared up he could've pm'd the involved users. i'm seriously annoyed that not only would people bitch about there being no gtwt despite this forum; what annoys me more is that he took the time to retaliate and bring more drama in. i personally love how relaxed this place is. hell, at least milo and others seem significantly less socially awkward on here. i was glad to see a drama free board until suddenly, HELLO FAF MODERATOR! anyway, happy fun dreams during my 2 hours of sleep. got it better than lots of people though, quite a few guys these days get barely any sleep over the course of 3 days. | |

| I dunno how you or those guys can handle that... I can't operate without a normal amount of sleep. I remember taking a test without any sleep, and writing down random nonsense before I could catch myself. I also once drove to school without having gone to sleep the night before, and could've easily gotten into a car accident; I was so unfocused. - MiloTime wrote:

There's plenty, but you probably don't like stuff like Mario Kart, Pokemon or Super Smash Bros.

There's plenty, but you probably don't like stuff like Mario Kart, Pokemon or Super Smash Bros. Lots of skill. I function off of about 2-4 hours of sleep a day during the week. I've only gotten myself to the point where I write gibberish/blackout once or twice. I tend to function really well without sleep.

it's ok, I'm sure there's other things to do together... That's why I suggested casual games... Like, free ones, that you don't really have to commit to. 'Cause I don't think either of us wants to invest in games we don't really like. - Yago wrote:

I just love how private messages aren't so private. So again Corto's extra salty with me, only it's not my fault like the first issue.

Mm, an apology to SIX would be in very good taste. Of course, I don't blame you or him for what happened, so don't worry about it. I think most people are just mad at the staff.

Maybe so, but I still feel pretty damn responsible. And yeah I plan to apologize to him though I'd rather do it personally on Skype, but he's not online....
