| There's tutorials about how to draw eyes, how to draw hair or fur and all that. I wish there was one on how to draw eerie, unsettling and/or plain scary things. Preferably one that describes just what makes drawings have that effect on people. I already tried drawing those by myself but...yeah, I have no idea what I'm doing :V | |

Okay so I have a hotel and on the floor below it there's a lounge, bar, and restaurant that stick out, each at different lengths away from the edge of the floors above. I want to have as few steps as possible, so preferably the lower level should all be at the same height. Oh, and there is a basement below this, so I have to think about a step down on that level too. And I want my basement to exit at ground level, but there is not enough of a slope of the site to enter level with the ground on the first floor and exit on the basement level, especially with this step-down. With the step-down, that's a difference of 22 feet. Accounting for the full width of my building from front to back, which is around 100 feet, even the steepest part of my site only gives a difference in height of 10 feet. Which means I either have to have a 12 foot flight of stairs up to the front door (horrible) Or a 6 foot flight of stairs in the front (good) and have the basement come out 6 feet below the ground level, and have retaining walls on either side until the floor matches the ground level (horrible, because this is a ski lodge and snow would just pile up there) Oh and thank god I don't have to factor in ADA requirements, or I'd also have to put fucking ramps everywhere, and I'm not sure if I could even get an elevator to stop at a half-level. See, architecture is fucking hard as shit  | |
