Sledge hammers, ugh. Too big and bulky, too much force to use em. Personally in a fight using melee weapons id use an MM1917 Trench Knife. Its got a double edged blade with a good length, a solid brass handle with a pyramid spike on the bottom for bashing someones head in with a blow downward, and a knuckle duster with spikes on each knuckle so with one punch, someones going down and unless they want 4 more holes in their head they stay down.

I may be a bitch for prefering a short blade covered in spikes and using a heavy brass handle, but in a fight ill be ready for a quick fight and prepared to knock em down. Then again that's if someone attacks me or my friend. I don't attack people for no reason, it ain't right.

Like I said, I love big melee weapons, so I love my claymores.
