I'd like anything that can crush someone's skull over something that can just stab them. Beating someone's brains in... there's that lovely satisfying "crunch" when the iron cleaves open their head...

Here's the 1918, its a different design than the 1917, but I like it more for the handle because of the more brass knuckle style compared to the open style of the 1917, but what I like about the 1917 is the blade. It was designed in a triangle style so a direct stab wound would be far more difficult to fix.

It depends on what tools you use foxy. Claymores and good night stars are mideval weapons designed for armored fighting in fields, trench knives are close range confined space weapons for both armored and unarmored opponents, designed to gravely injure someone with the desired result being a one blow death. All in all though these are melee, given the choice id rather have a Browning Hi-Power for close range combat.

w3ell in reality, me being a trained weapon's master may be able to use it effectively 4-5 times, but still its a pretty useless weapon, it has no defensive capabilities, and it drains a massive amount of energy when you swing it.

My heritage weapon, the claymore, I can wield with ease, and it it much more deadly.

A claymore can be an exxclelent close range weapon in the right hands, aka mine.
