General Time Wasting Thread 10: Incest Edition

WAHOO! My sister finally got a job! She was down to like $1 in her account, so I gave her $20 for gas so she could go to interviews and stuff. She just got hired at Tim Hortons. I am so happy for her.

picked cryengine3 SDK back up today, and god dammit, I'm addicted again. I stopped using it cause I was too stupid to use it. but I don't care, I just like making levels :<

Just keep it up, man. Everybody's "too stupid" to work on a game engine at first. But slowly, you'll learn your way around, and with enough experience, you'll actually start impressing yourself.

I can easily make simple scenery in 5 minutes flat, like a forest, or plains overlooking a mountain, and am even getting a hang of creating AI, but after that, it get's into heavy flowgraphing, and I just end up in the fetal position

just to make an AI walk in a designated path, takes like, an entire page of flowgraph nodes, it's ridiculous

I'm also trying to get used to creating my own materials, but even that is a giant middle finger.

I enjoy it at least... I love seeing what I can create.

Alberta has a crap ton of oil. It is big money working in the northern part of that province. One of my furry friends is up there right now. He goes up every two weeks for two weeks.

This fucking software can't even get the bpm right on half my songs and as hard as I try I just CAN'T get them to line up right, I think I do and then they go out of sync and my brain can't process whether it's too fast or two slow so when I try to fix it it just makes it worse

The minute I saw that the thread was on a Homestuck character in Homestuck porn and I immediately couldnt give a shit and questioned why people would make Homestuck porn.
