I've only ever made the claim that Derpy was "arguably" the best pony. I still have not settled on a best pony yet. But I do like numbers, and the math is stacked in RD's favor.

The only thing going against Dash is that her adorableness has dropped considerably since her filly years, no longer reaching the critical mass required for sustained HNNNG. Derpy still maintains high levels of adorableness and can induce HNNNG at will. Plus, muffins.

Well obviously thats a scene with Derpy and Dash, theres no room for any other pony to be in there. Hell, even Twilights presence would make that image too cluttered and her appearance would be questionable.

And Pinkie doesnt ALWAYS have balloons and party equipment...its prevalent, but not required for everywhere she goes

From what I've seen so far, balloons are her preferred means of travel to cloud height.
