How old is it, and how many cycles has it run?

If it's less than three years, and under 600, there's no reason it should be doing that. You may want to try resetting the power management unit and recalibrating your battery, Apple's website has great tutorials on doing those things for a given model.

I only trust private reviews.

It almost appeals to me more than the other installments. And Capcom did say they wanted a different audience this time (a tacit admission that they wish to abandon yet ANOTHER fanbase, but whatever). However, I don't like survival horror and I don't Gears of War soooo...I wouldn't get this since that's apparently what it plays like. :I

I saw the bad and good reviews, this review convinced me to at least rent it from gamefly. I know it's not going to be the best RE game, but nothing will be worse than RE5 and RE:ORC to me.
