General Time Wasting Thread 30: How the Hell did we hit 30?

Im not sure what it is, but I love working on machines. Not electronics particularly, but machines, like motors and heavy duty equipment. I there's a truck behind where I work im trying to get for Lunar and if I can find the keys, or jam a screwdriver into the ignition to try and get it to turnover to see what all works.

@blackfuredfox: That's pretty cool. The essence of hardware hacking, at DEFCON someone was talking about getting through an old car door lock with a pair of tongue depressors. Wafer locks are not a good design.

That sounds pretty neat with the tounge depressers. Im still apprehensive about jamming the screwdriver in on account of ill need to get a new starter then. I wish I could pick it with a bobby pin and screwdriver but im not sure if that'd work. Though I assume there's probably a way around it besides a hot wire or getting another key made. Id love work on smaller motors though, I may ask my friend Larry if I can have the spent motor from his dog tag printer to work with.

I called up the place and they said that it must have been a piece of wire that's used to wrap the meat and it accidentally broke off and feel into the meat. My headache is still there too.
