technically I am.

I'm taking a class in the fall. it's the only time where their schedule isn't completely fucked. I'd take classes in the summer if they didn't cram the knowledge in you in 4 hour long classes for 3 days in between. but at least in the fall, they spread it out throughout the week

If people have become so used to you being the "jobless loser" to the point they kinda need you to be that just for their own sense of normalcy/superiority, getting a job doesn't really change much. They'll rationalize it by saying your job isn't as important as theirs, isn't as demanding, or find some other reason. The fact most parents really care more about being able to take their issues out on their kids than their kids even being employed (or employable) is a large part of why we're in this mess in the first place.
