I've become used to my $100 headphones though, I want something better
The bass on these headphones seems kinda muddy to me, I want something crisper (the mids and highs are still pretty crisp though)

I'm not sure if I've just become a snob or if the sound quality has actually degraded slightly from wear (I'm talking hundreds and hundreds of hours)

When I first got these they sounded like god
Once you first experience that, you'll just want to buy more and more expensive shit, until even these sound boring

I have no standards... literally, I have nothing to compare the quality to. I've always had $10 headphones, so anything else sounds like god to me.

these headphones probably aren't even considered "good". but they were $60, so I'm keep them

A good headset like that is on my list of shit to buy

I really want to hear just how good things can sound because Ive used nothing but cheap headsets and $2 earbuds for my entire life

there's a sort of 3D sound in specifically good headsets. the ones I had didn't really have that balance between the two buds. but these ones, I can hear the sounds drifting off from one side, to the other.

I want to find a bunch of ambiance audio files. I love ambient noises. like rain, and the cityscape. (both things that don't exist in arizona )

I have a couple of headphones, it's just a shame my turtle beach headset only works on xbox; seeing how it's the best one I own. Right now I'm using these Koss headphones, which I'd say are pretty good considering the price. (Around 40 euros)

I bought the turtle beach too, that works for PC as well. I can't help but feel like I made the wrong choice, since it's mostly made for consoles... eh. oh well.

Well there's good news and bad news on the depressedwuff front. The good news is the doctor I saw today said I look/sound like a lot of his depressed patients, wrote me a prescription and referred me to a psychiatrist (thankfully not that asshole who concluded I was beyond help for refusing to bow to his demand I cop to something I almost certainly don't have). The bad news is of course is despite "socialized medicine", I can't just go get it. I either have to pay for it out of pocket or be on a plan, and even on a plan I'm going to be paying something. It's going to take a while to get this shit sorted out. I mentioned I have no fucking job with which to pay any of this, right?

But still, this is better than where I was just a few weeks ago so I'm not throwing my hands up with the whole thing yet.
