I'm actually banned from Weasyl. Not permanently, but I'm not going back there come hell or high water. There's no good conversations happening there. It's all a mutual-admiration club between premium members who get privilege over everyone else, including when it comes to who the mods take to task for any "arguments" (when will furries learn arguing is a thing normal people do and not a fucking terrorist act?) and the whole thing is really about Ben, Fay V and co. trying to start a business to replace anything resembling a real job like the rest of us are trying to get/hold down.

No, the forum I mod is ostensibly about a rap group the lot of you are too white and gay to probably have even heard of, but really is just a general forum... Like this one, except people actually post things. Things with content, to start conversations. And people generally handle shit like adults, including those "arguments" that intimidate fuckwitted, yellow-bellied queers like those on Weasyl, not to mention the ones I see in front of me right now.

I'm done with angsty, depressive queers and their fucking queerdom, queering up their lives and the world as a whole for some fucking agenda that's just because they're too pathetic to get a fucking job like the rest of us.

Bullshit. It's not furry denial as much as the most blatant, sanctimonious cynicism that only the likes of people like Ben are capable of. "It's not a furry site, it's an artistic 'social network'". You know, this is the same guy who on FAF used to play mind games with people and when he'd get called on it say 'it's a social experiment'.

Basically, the long and short of it is, "we don't want the stench and stigma of furry on us, but of course we'd love to benefit from your money and content!". And people like that, when they say it, sincerely believe it makes them sound like a good person when they say shit like that.

Look, you want to know the story with Ben, how self-unaware he is of his own arrogance and failure at just life in general, just watch his audition on American Idol and his reactions to not only losing, but to being shown losing on TV, as if it was the first time it ever happened to anybody. I know my word isn't worth shit to you so I won't go into the time he acted like a complete ass/psycho on Tinychat with a bunch of us, but you can find plenty of dirt online that makes it pretty clear, first, why he's unemployable and, ergo, is doing this Weasyl thing: sheer desperation.

If you guys want to be down with something like that, more power to you. But it'll be a fringe, niche site at best, my prediction. And that's me being optimistic.

That still doesn't bode well for you lot with your whiny, reclusive faggotry. But for God's sake, don't multiply your own problems by getting caught up in whatever financial disaster is on the horizon for another site.

ben doesn't seem that awkward or bad to me... I think you're just taking the fact that you know him as a furry, as a basis, when really, he struck me as normal as any other failed american idol contestant. pretended to take the news well, while using an excuse as to why his voice sucked. if anything, he just strikes me as.... a catty introvert trying to be in the spotlight.

in my opinion, truly awkward would have been him admitting to being a furry and explaining to the media what he defines furry as, simultaneously admitting that he fursuits and yiffs.

You know though, I lost what little respect I ever had for it early on. They wouldn't let this one girl go to hollywood because she dressed in a military uniform...and she was a good singer plus pretty!!

Then of course there was the time they shoved aside a fat opera singer. I just never could get into it after that.
