2) Silver oxide is a semiconductor, far inferior to gold in conductivity.

3) Since silver and gold are so expensive, it's usually only a good idea to plate contacts with them. So it would be really, really, really, stupid to plate a connector with silver, and then plate the silver with some other oxide. It would be cheaper to just oxide coat the copper, and it would work just as well. Gold on the other hand can act as the contact directly, with no reasonable risk of oxidizing, causing negligible resistivity.

You're thinking of Jesus Classic. When people say Jesus now, they mean white republican Jesus.

Honestly even White Republican Jeezus is a bit of a hippy compared to the real Jesus, most likely. Jesus might've been opposed to violence and all that shit, but he openly denounced the very concept of family, meant something very different by "turn the other cheek" than what most take it to mean, and, c'mon, the guy belonged to a breed of Judaism that's basically extinct. The kind of wealth and comfort that these guys feel entitled to and that they think their "savior" would want them to have was utterly foreign to the man himself.
